Disneyworld Orlando
Disneyworld is known to children and adults alike as one of the most fun-filled travel destinations in the USA. Tourists flock here every year by the millions to visit the Magic Kingdom, and few leave disappointed: this famous park has something for everyone, from rides to life-size Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse himself.

The Magic Kingdom is divided up into seven lands, all of which are worth visiting. The first place you will see upon entering Disneyworld is Main Street, USA. This street is filled with shops and restaurants, a vintage cinema, and the Cinderella Castle, which has become synonymous with Disney. It's a good idea to stop at the Town Hall on this street for visitor information, maps, and to have pictures taken with all the Disney characters.

Fantasyland boasts many rides, all of which are related to Disney's movies, including Peter Pan's flight, Snow White's Scary Adventures, and the spectacular Cinderella's Golden Carousel. Everyone should be sure to visit It's a Small World, a boat ride that is fun for the whole family.

Adventureland is a great experience, boasting many of the Magic Kingdom's most exciting rides and attractions. Pirates of the Caribbean is an adventure through the world of pirates, and is the ride that inspired the new, award-winning motion picture of the same name. The Swiss Family Treehouse and Jungle Cruise are also highlights.

Mickey's Toontown Fair is one of the more recent additions to the park. Here, you can literally step into the world of a cartoon, with everything in bright surreal colors and topsy-turvy shapes. Younger children will especially love this part of the park.

Tomorrowland holds Space Mountain, one of the Magic Kingdom's oldest roller coasters, but still one of the best. Youngsters will enjoy Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, and older kids and parents will love Timekeeper, a movie adventure about time travel.

Liberty Square is a bit more tame than the rest of the lands, and provides education in a fun way about Colonial America. The Haunted Mansion is here, one of the best rides in the park.

Finally, Frontierland brings the fantastic Splash Mountain, the hollow-log ride that takes passengers through Brer Rabbit's home before plunging down a steep, watery slope, often soaking everyone on board. This is a good ride to take either at the end of the day, or midday when the temperature is at its hottest. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is another great ride that older kids and adults will like, with terrifying turns and drops.
