Hotel Description

Location. The Metropolitan Resort Orlando is located in Orlando, Fla., on International Drive. The hotel is less than one mile from the Hard Rock Vault, Wet 'n Wild, the outdoor shops of Pointe Orlando. The property is one mile from the Orange County Convention Center.
Hotel Features. Teak furnishings and bamboo fill the lobby. The Cargo Bay Bar & Grill offers a buffet and a la carte items, while the hotel deli features coffee and light snacks. Every Friday night, the restaurant features popular Italian buffet-style dinners. The seasonal Ripples bar serves tropical drinks and snack items. The Metropolitan Resort Orlando features an outdoor pool, a lighted tennis court and children's play area. The hotel offers complimentary access to the adjacent YMCA Aquatic and Family Center, featuring a lap pool, a diving pool, a fitness center and racquetball courts.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms display beds with gold duvets and 250-thread count linens. Décor features light-colored wooden furniture and recessed lighting above the beds. Many rooms include microwave ovens, refrigerators and coffeemakers. Bathrooms offer complimentary toiletries, telephones, large bronze mirrors and separate vanities. Expert Tip. Take the complimentary shuttle service to Universal Studios Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando and Wet 'n Wild or hop on the I-Ride Trolley that stops in front of the hotel. It ferries guests along the myriad restaurants and entertainment venues of International Drive.
